Friday Favorites

It’s Friday! This week went by so quickly, even though it seemed so long on Monday. I’ll check out for the week-end soon but I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite things I found on Internet. Happy Friday!

New Olympic Athletes Crafted from Layered Paper by Raya Sader Bujana

Favorite Artwork - this beautiful paper sculpture by the Barcelona-based artist Raja Sader Bujana. She created a number of new paper sculptures on the Olympics theme, and they are just awesome! They are available as limited edition Giclee prints in her online shop

Olympic Runners Who Came Last After Helping Each Other Get Moved To The Finals

Favorite Olympics Moment - Two 5.000-meter runners helping each other and getting moved to the finals. Abbey D’Agostino (USA) and Nikki Hamblin (New Zealand) collided during the race and fell to the ground.  When Abbey D’Agostino noticed that  Nikki Hamblin was hurt, she stopped to help Nikki and encourage her to finish the race. Eventually both got moved to the finals. Now that’s the true Olympic spirit!

Here you can see the video.

Serenity Found by Robert Blair 500P X

Favorite Photo to celebrate the World Photography Day on August 19th - this fabulous photo of a heron at Hudson Springs Park in Hudson, Ohio by Robert Blair. You can see more of Robert Blair wonderful photos on his 500PX gallery.

Have a great week-end everyone!
